So I am officially past my due date and man have I been getting ticked by comments from others. So if you would like to stay on the good side of a pregnant woman, follow these tips:
1. Never say "Oh I thought you would have had your baby by now"
2. When the pregnant woman calls you don't immediately say "are you in labor" (some of us still have lives up until the birth of our baby)
3. Don't rub her stomach with out permission
4. Never comment on the size of the belly unless it's "you look really good..."
Those are just a few of the things that could help you stay on the good side of a pregnant woman.

Zoo
So last Friday we (meaning my mom and myself) took Luke to the Fort Wayne Zoo. We had a blast. I was hoping that with all the walking I might go into labor, but that didn't happen. Luke was able to pet goats, ride the smallest pony ever among many other things. I will totally be going back, possible when there are not as many schools doing field trips.
On other news, I have a little less than 2 weeks before my due date. I am just hoping she arrives early. I have my bags packed and am just waiting for any type of sign for labor. So come on out Amelia!!! Mommy wants to hold you outside of the uterus.

Prayers
So I might be bragging a little bit but I think Luke is especially brilliant. He is not even two and a half and he is able to recognize most of the alphabet, he can count to 11, and man can he communicate. But for the past month, he started to pray and it is the cutest thing ever. He prays for all of his meals and for boo boos. He totally expects for the pain to be gone once he is finished praying which is awesome faith in the Lord. I love my boy.
On another page, he is starting to sing to Amelia every morning. He has to lift up my shirt and lay his head on my tummy and he either sings or hums. I really hope that he understand that Amelia is real and that he is not just singing to my stomach but he says good morning to her and gives her a kiss. He is going to be such a good brother!

Trouble
So you are thinking...what a cutie. He looks good with his haircut (my first time...not so bad). But he decided instead of going to the bathroom to fill the toilet bowl with a TON of wet wipes. I guess I will have to supervise all the time. I did move out the wet wipes because we don't need them anymore but "Man, come on Luke!" Last thing I was to do is stick my hand in a toilet. Life as a mom is always exciting.

Picnic
Below are the two windows that were installed last week. Yay! This week we have drywallers installing and mudding. I just cannot wait till this basement project is finished. It would be nice to be lazy one day of pregnancy in pjs without random men coming and going from the house. So until then I have been doing so fix it projects on the main floor to keep me and Luke busy.

Basement
So we hired a company to put in two egress windows because after adding up the costs to do it ourselves it would be pretty much be the same to hire out. So this week poor Luke and myself have had to listen to extremely loud drilling and sawing but progress. So we have one window in and the second one is about to go in. Man does it make a big difference. Once they are done I will upload some pictures.
Other things for the week is that Luke got another ear infection. That boy is tough. The only reason I could tell was at bedtime, he would cry so I would end up letting sleep with me. But thanks to drugs he is sleeping like a little baby again. With the weather being so nice we have spent hours outside and loving it. It is weird to think that in a little less than 8 weeks we will have Amelia outside with us. I know Luke will be a great brother. His cousin Kiersten came by for a visit and when her mommy went out to get lunch from the car she started to cry. So Luke gently put her paci in her mouth and patted her back. It was cute to see the "softer" side of Luke.
Love my boy!
Sorry no pictures. Next post I promise.

Almost 31 weeks!
Luke cracks me up throughout the day. He brought his kitchen stuff out into the hallway and was making himself a snack. He is finally starting to entertain himself for small periods of time which makes me so happy. I find he does much better when the house is silent. Which is opposite than me...I like constant noise. Either way he makes me a proud mommy and I cannot wait to see what a good big brother he will be.
